Latest Update Elizabeth Olsen: Elizabeth Olsen attends the Broadway opening night after party for “Impressionism” at Sardis on March 24, 2009 in New York City.
Baring a remarkable resemblance to her older, lime-lit sisters, Lizzie shares the Olsen twins’ preference for bohemian threads.
In fact she and her brother James are name-checked with Elizabeth and James, the fashion line by Mary-Kate and Ashley.
Last night we are pretty sure Lizzie was wearing the long, sheer camel colored dress that Mary-Kate belted in 2007 for the presentation of Calvin Klein’s new collection at P3, Marylebone Road in London, England. Who do you think did the dress justice?

Latest Update News 90210 Day: It’s one of the 90’s most enduring pop culture phenomenon. It spawned a whole miniature empire of spin-offs and remakes, made Tori Spelling into a household name, carried the Fox Network’s non-animated programming banner, and somehow remains an incredibly popular show to this very day. It’s Beverly Hills 90210, and today is officially 90210 Day since, you know, it’s 09/02/10.
To this day, this is one of the weirdest shows on television. For starters, look at that image above. Why is everyone fully dressed except for Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling? Why does Ian Ziering not have a shirt on? Why does a middle-aged man (Ziering again) hang out with high schoolers? What’s the deal with his curly blond mullet? Is Steve Sanders the token ugly one of the group?
Yes, it’s a neat coincidence of the calendar, and sure, I’m in favor of any excuse to celebrate pop culture, but 90210 Day has nothing, and I mean nothing, on May the Fourth Be With You.
We should be celebrating good shows, not bad soap operas featuring 33-year-old high school students in their 8th year at West Beverly High.

Latest Update News Sizzurp Linked: With claims that TI and his wife, Tiny, who is most known for having appeared on a number of reality shows, were caught with a substance known as “sizzurp,” the term has become one of the hottest searched trends on Google.
The concoction known as Sizzurp is made by mixing codeine cough syrup with soda. Also known as “lean,” the substance has become a popular piece of hip-hop culture.
A number of rap artists have fallen victim to its effects, including Pimp C who passed away in 2008 after overdosing on the substance.
The substance is called “sizzurp” because it is purple, which is an effect that is created by the color of the codeine cough syrup. 7-Up is commonly mixed with the syrup, as well as a number of other sodas including Sprite.

Latest Update News2010 Pitt Football Season: Tino Sunseri takes over for Bill Stull as starting QB for Pitt this year. Word is that Sunseri nearly beat out Stull for the starting job in camp last year, but the coaches ultimately went with the more experienced player.
Stull went on to lead the team to their first 10 win season since 1981 and was named First Team All-Big East. Tool-wise, Sunseri is Stull’s superior, as he as a stronger arm and is swifter of foot.
However, the big question for Sunseri and all new starting QBs is whether those tools will translate on the field against top-flight competition. We won’t know until September 2nd against Utah.
Backing up Sunseri is veteran Pat Bostick. Bostick is notable for leading Pitt to what must be the biggest win of the Wannstedt era, the 13-9 defeat of 28 point favorite West Virginia to knock them out of the BCS title game. If called upon, he can at least be expected to be a decent game manager.

Latest Update USC Football: The USC Trojans will begin a new era without 10-year head coach Pete Carroll, 30 scholarships over the next 3 years and a shot at the Pac 10 conference title or a bowl this year as they open the 2010 season at the Hawaii Warriors tonight.
Kick-off on ESPN is set for 11:05pm EST and USC has opened at online sportsbooks as a 21-point favorite in college football predictions for week 1 with a total of 51.
Lane Kiffin will begin his new stint as the USC head coach. Kiffin was a top assistant for Carroll before striking out on his own at the Oakland Raiders and then last year with the Tennessee Volunteers.
Kiffin faces the great coaching challenge of trying to motivate a team that, at the end of the day, has nothing to play for in 2010 college football odds.

Latest Update News Jan Brewer Debate: Arizona county coroners told the Arizona Guardian they cannot back up Gov. Jan Brewer’s claims that there have been a rash of beheaded bodies. Brewer claimed illegal immigrants have come over the border and beheading Arizona citizens.
Brewer spokesman Paul Senseman could not say where Brewer got her information on beheadings. The whole beheading story seems to be something Brewer made up to justify signing the ID bill.
Brewer debated Democratic opponent asked her to recant her statement that beheadings took place. Brewer side-stepped the question. After the debate, the media asked Brewer why she didn’t recant her statement on the beheadings.
She was also asked if she believed that the beheadings occurred. Brewer refused to answer both questions and abruptly walked out of the debate. Brewer had a Sharron Angle-style meltdown.

Latest Update News Bethany Storro: A woman named Bethany Storro was getting some stuff out of her car in Monday evening, when suddenly a woman approached her with a glass and asked “Hey pretty girl, do you want to drink this?” and after that she threw an acid-like liquid on her face! Sounds too scary to be true? Well, it IS true!
Bethany is currently hospitalized in Portland, Oregon and listed in critical condition. The savage attack has left holes in her face and many months will have to pass for the skin to be completely healed. But even after that her face will never be the same.
Her mother, Nancy Neuwelt said that a pair of glasses she recently purchased might have saved her eyesight: “She never wears sunglasses, but she had a little extra money and bought a pair,’’ after that, Storro told her mother that she felt the most excruciating pain in her life.

Latest Update Oil Rig Explosion: Another oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico exploded today. All crew members survived. Right now, nobody knows whether or not the explosion caused a leak in any of the seven wells that the rig collects from.
There have been reports of an oil slick on the water near the fire, but that could just as easily be from the finite amount of oil stored on the rig—which would still a spill, but a significantly less problematic one.
Other than that, there’s not really much information out about this right now. If anybody’s learned anything from Deepwater Horizon it seems to be that you’re better off, PR-wise, if you don’t have to correct everything you say two days later.
To give you something to chew over in the meantime, though, Deep Sea News has been doing a really interesting series on the science (such as it is) of oil dispersants. It’s interesting, not just because of the basic facts, but also because it gets into the details of why we don’t know more.
