Monday was a big day for all the fans of the dance reality show named Dancing with the Stars. As on this day the cast of the 11th season was announced officially. Mike Sorrentino is the name that created a lot of hype. It was believed that in this season Mike would be one of the big names that would become a part of this show. All of them were right but unfortunately Mike was unable to give a good impression to his audience as he missed the shooting of the cast announcement episode.

Actually Mike was busy shooting for his show named Jersey Shore. This show is aired on MTV and is the show that helped Mike to gain recognition. It is thought that Mike might not give proper time to his rehearsals because of his busy schedule but we will have to wait to see that how well he does. Talking about the rest of the contestants well all of them have entered the competition with full determination and have already started the rehearsals. The contestants would be allowed to perform on the studio stage only after 8 September. The show would be premiering on 20 September.

A few other names that will be a part of the show include David Hasselhoff and Bristol Palin. Mike also known as The Situation is one hand behind the others as he won’t be rehearsing as much as the others. The Situation is quite busy with a few other projects and it seems that it won’t be a big deal for him if he is eliminated from the show in the very first elimination round.
