Mariner Energy shares fall after platforms exploded in the Gulf of Mexico.

Offshore oil rig exploded and burned today in the Gulf of Mexico about 102 miles south of Vermilion Bay.

Coast Guard says no one was killed in the blast, which reportedly commercial helicopter flying over the site about 9:00 every 13 people on board the platform has been formed, with one injury.
