ISLAMABAD: Nine persons were killed and seven wounded when a wagon collided with an oil tanker at Peshawar GT Road near Islamabad.

According to reports, the accident happened on Tuesday morning at Margalla crossing when a passenger wagon met a head-on collision with an oil tanker. Rescue teams and ambulances reached the scene and shifted injured to tehsil headquarter Texila. Three injured died on the spot whereas six succumbed to injuries later. According to rescue officials, the accident occurred due to over speeding.
